The Most Beautiful Library I've Ever Seen

bonjour my internet friends,

This is the most beautiful library I've ever seen. It's the Central City Library in Surrey, British Columbia. It blew me away. It fits all the aesthetics I have dreamed of.

This post is just going to be a post of photos I took in the library. Because I feel like they need to be shared and I am so proud of them and their beauty.

Enjoy.

I Need To Take A Break

Take a break. Run away with us for the summer. Let's go upstate. We can all go stay with our father. There's a lake I know in a nearby park. You and I can go when the night gets dark. Take a break.

These lyrics honestly are echoing in my head right now. I am so stretched all over that I don't know what to do.

I recently obtained a job. So my weekend evenings are spent working and helping clean for closing the store. I come home exhausted and sleep late into the morning if I can. I'm stressed about remembering things. Like reading the screens and making certain orders. Like how many scoops go into a medium. It's been a month of learning and will continue.

I've also got two huge projects for the end of the year.

I've got a huge advocacy project for social justice. I love the class and am so happy that I am able to talk about things I am passionate about and learn about the world. I love being in a class of aware and *ahem* woke students. But this project is absolutely killing me. It’s a huge thing and I want to make a difference. I am loving that I keep getting resources but honestly it’s difficult when I want to do anything and everything to get my message out and make plans.

It’s also hard trying to pass some of the work onto a partner. Let me tell you. I want to have her do something but I don’t know what because I’ve always been in group projects where I end up doing all the work. It’s difficult but I need her to take some of the work away from me so that I can take a break and breathe for a minute.

Not to mention my forty to fifty page final assignment for creative writing. That’s right. Forty to fifty pages. I’ve got a plan, I just have to make sure it gets there. I so hope it will. I know it will. I just stress.

These two projects are due in completion in June. And it’s April. Time will go by so fast.

Not to mention, I am graduating and it’s prom season so I am in the works of helping my dress be completed! And I have to plan a promposal. I’ve got ideas. I’m excited for that one.

It’s just a suddenly hectic time and I am learning to balance it all. Who knew being an adult would be so …. Hard?! (Many hands raise as I shush.)

My point is that at this point in my life I need an outlet. So I am hoping to turn back to blogging as that. So if you come across this and the posts are getting a little weird, just know that I am going through a weird time.

Keep smiling,
Naddy

P.S. Nothing for the month of March. I apologize.

Addiction vs. Obsession: Take A Break

My dearest, internet people.

I love words. Words fascinate me. The fact that we can use two words interchangeably but they mean something completely different baffles me. You could say I am obsessed with words. Or addicted to them. Huh. This is my predicament, or part of it.

See what I am trying to determine is the difference when someone says, "I am obsessed with this song!" versus "This song is so addictive!"

Addiction defined as above is, the fact or condition of being addicted to a particular substance, thing, or activity. So one person can be addicted to a song, without being obsessed?

Obsession is defined as the state of being obsessed with someone or something. Well, that doesn't really help! The alternate definition is, an idea or thought that continually preoccupies or intrudes on a person's mind. That's better.

So they are quite similar. But I think addiction is more the act of needing something, a synonym is 'dependency'. So feeling compelled to listen to the song over and over, and being essentially addicted!

While obsession is wanting to listen to the song over and over, and having it on your mind. And a synonym is .... addiction.

Ah, well maybe they are the same thing in the context I keep thinking of.

It might make more sense now why I started the post in such a way. Hamilton: An American Musical is so addictive! And I am definitely obsessed.

I have my favourite songs and honestly it is constantly changing anyway. (Satisfied, Helpless, Guns And Ships, Dear Theodosia, One Last Time, Burn, Take A Break, ...)

The introduction of this post (and the title) is a reference to Angelica's part in Take A Break.

[ANGELICA:]
In a letter I received from you two weeks ago
I noticed a comma in the middle of a phrase
It changed the meaning. Did you intend this?
One stroke and you've consumed my waking days
It says:

[HAMILTON/ANGELICA:]
“My dearest Angelica”

[ANGELICA:]
With a comma after “dearest”
You've written

[HAMILTON AND ANGELICA:]
“My dearest, Angelica.”

It is a part that often sticks with me.

I will not go off on too much of a tangent. Hamilton is for another blog post. (Be expecting it, or not. Who knows. I might go off on a crazy tangent about it or not. You won't know until I do.)

So that wraps it up. Addiction and Obsession are so similar that they're synonymous. I am addicted to and obsessed with Hamilton: An American Musical.

Naddy xoxo

I Hate Valentine's Day

Bonjour my internet friends,

Happy Valentine's Day.

You might be confused, why is the title saying you hate v-day when you just wished us a happy day? Well, I can explain.

I am not a rude person. I am wishing you all a very happy Valentine's! But personally, I am not too fond of the holiday. Why should we have one day a year to remind our loved ones that we love them? We should do that every day!

I am going to be honest, I do not do that myself. The reminding my loved ones that I love them part. But I try really hard. I tell people I love them whenever I feel the need to and do little acts of kindness (like washing the dishes or making dinner for the family) and hugs, oh hugs are seriously great.

If you knew me, you'd know I am actually a hopeless romantic type. Hit me up with that amazing YA Romance novels (Jennifer E. Smith, Susane Colasanti, and Sarah Dessen among the favourites) and I am a happy girl. And then you'd be confused as to why I don't like V-Day, as the the most romantic day of the year.

As I explained earlier, it's because I believe you should show love all the time and not just on this one special day.

Besides, yes I am in a relationship but today isn't all that special for us as just two weeks ago we celebrated our six month anniversary. That seemed more of a big deal to us, so we went for all out for that than anything.

(By all out, I mean we posted long paragraph posts on instagram and then spent last Saturday cuddling and cooking/cleaning together. REALationship goals.)

My apathetic attitude towards V-day does not stop me from calling my boyfriend later today and then sitting down with a cup of hot chocolate and a young adult romance novel.

But that sounds like a typical evening for me, so it's nothing special really.

Happy Valentine's Day.

Big Brother is Watching You

Bonjour my internet friends,

Last week I sat in my Biology class, reading the last two or three chapters of 1984 by George Orwell. My old and worn school copy in my hands for consumption (this edition published circa 2008).

That last Friday was not the day I had to finish the book, I was actually only required to read one chapter to recap for my table group. But I got ahead of myself and read the remaining chapters.

So that put me ahead in the class later on. Because myself and two of my classmates, were the only people to finish the book so we got a leg up. We were given the final assignment on Friday while the rest of the class has reading homework and gets the assignment on Monday.

We have been assigned to write a narrative connected to 1984 in some meaningful way. my teacher's words. So I began writing, and writing, and writing. I wrote for a few hours today. Ended with the beginning of my story, almost 2000 words down. Got to say, I am pretty proud!

I won't say much but I will say it is the world of 1984 set in 2017 Vancouver. So the terminology is similar in some aspects but different in others. It's told from the point of view of 17 year old Cleo Chen. She would be considered a prole in Orwell's 1984, but in mine they are called plebeian and aren't treated the same as the proles of Airstrip One.

I don't want to reveal too much but this is such a fun assignment as I seriously enjoyed reading 1984. It's an amazing novel and brings up themes that are terrifyingly still present today.

If you haven't read Orwell's classic tale, I recommend you do. Especially if you are a fan of the show Big Brother, like I was for a season.

Remember, Big Brother is watching you.

It's Been Awhile

Bonjour my internet friends,

I find that I always end up crawling back to the blog after reading any of the Girl Online novels. What can I say? Zoella and Penny Porter inspire me! I really want to say I am very sorry for not updating you THE ENTIRE YEAR. I wrote two posts in January and then, gave up? More like, forgot. I actually have been so focused on the rest of my life, this was pushed down.

Let's see, this year I gained a few extra appendages; a new best friend, a boyfriend, and a phone.

I was in my aunt and uncle's Doctor Who themed wedding at the end of January.

I went to the Troye Sivan concert at the beginning of February and Melanie Martinez at the end (my Tumblr photos are linked).

I met my new best friend (known as A) at the Troye Sivan concert and ended up hanging out over spring break again in March. Seriously, we've been friends now for 10 months (I think that's quite the accomplishment) and the link will take to a Tumblr documentation of our friendship.

In April, I went to Camp Squeah as a leader for my junior youth group with one of my closest friends and our singular youth girl. (All the rest were boys.) I also got my braces off promptly afterwards, after ten months with them and now I have a permanent retainer on top and bottom (and perfect teeth, thanks Dad.)

In May, I went away on a trip with my AVID class to UBC: Okanagan and Thompson Rivers University. I also went to the island to visit my best friend A and their friends there.

June was full of wrap up and parties. Both Senior and Junior Youth finished for the year and we had our Leader Appreciation party barbecue. My youngest sister turned 10. I finished grade 11.

The beginning of July was sitting around and being lazy. Canada Day fireworks and then on the 22nd we had night sliding and the following Sunday, I left for camp. Shoutout to YES Camp for the best week of my life. (Here are a few photos I took to document it.)

August was spent as the first month of my new relationship with my boyfriend. I volunteered as a leader for a group of 8-10 year olds at my church day camp. I went to Playland with my youth group. And at the end of the month, as per usual, I went away to Lakeside Resort for the tenth year in a row (family vacation).

September was the month of being thrown back into school, my final year of high school. I started a course at Kwantlen Polytechnic University. We had our Grad Barbecue. I volunteered at a Youth Homelessness Concert and Fair Fundraiser for homeless youth in Langley.

I celebrated my 17th birthday in October and went to Vancouver for Halloween.

I cut my hair in November and celebrated a friends birthday with puppies as well as my mum, dad, brother, and sister's birthdays. I also had my grad cruise around the Vancouver Harbour. It was also my final year attending the Senior Youth Impact Retreat at Camp Squeah with some of my best friends.

In December, I went to Granville Island two days in a row for field trips and saw two different plays. I took a ferry boat across the harbour for one. I also celebrated Christmas with all my families.

Now it's December 30th, almost the end of the year. What a year. Doing this, I didn't realize how much of my experiences had only happened during 2016. I have been able to reflect on this year. Sure, I didn't read seventy books like I wanted to but I did read about fifty instead. Sure this year kind of sucked in the big picture, but for me personally, it wasn't all that bad.

Thank you to everyone for a crazy amazing year. Here's to many more.

Keep Smiling Beautifuls,
Naddy xoxo

One of my resolutions is to blog more. At the very least, once a month. And ideally, once a week.

Hello 2016! Harry Lou Year!

Bonjour my internet friends,

Sorry, I mean happy new year. Darn Louis and Harry always on my mind!

There is this account on Twitter that I totally love called @rtyour2k15 where she tweets things that people have done in the year and you retweet it if you have. So here are a list of things that I have done this year, via 'Retweet your 2k15'.

PS these are some accomplishments that I came up with myself that rtyour2k15 didn't do.

  • passed all my tenth grade exams (English, Science, and Math)
  • read past my 50 book goal (62!)

Looking Back on 2015's Goals

Bonjour my internet friends,

So it is a new year. Two thousand a sixteen. Wow. It felt like just yesterday that we were wrapping up 2014 in a few blog post fashion.

Last year, I wrote about things I accomplished over the year very vaguely. Quite sparse and very few things along with my 'For 2015' goals. Let's see how much I improved with those goals.
  1.  learn to unapologetically say "no"
  2. tell more stories
  3. read. read. read. read. read.
  4. write more. write about everything.
  5. pick up your camera again
  6. stop slouching. keep your chin up.
  7. don't give a shit what others think of you
  8. have more solo dance parties in your room
  9. keep your skin moisturized
  10. appreciate every square inch of your body
  11. life in not a competition. stop treating it like on.
  12. be patient. be thankful.
I'd like to say, in at least some way, shape, or form I accomplished these things.
  1. I started saying "no" without apologizing and not agreeing because I felt guilty.
  2. I told so many stories and had a lot of fun listening to others.
  3. I completely read sixty-two books this year, ending the year with two on the go.
  4. I wrote as much as I could, whether it was just for school or for fun or late night observations.
  5. I took a lot of pictures and actually not only picked up my old point and shoot camera but bought my first real camera.
  6. I am still working on sitting and standing straight (even now I am slouching, oops). But figuratively, I think that I grew a bit of a backbone and kept my chin up and stood taller, I was the bigger person.
  7. I started to realize that people's opinions about me don't matter and I shouldn't care because the only person who's opinion should matter is my own.
  8. I have had countless dance parties in my room (and house when I'm alone or not), just jamming out and enjoying myself. And also getting a serious workout.
  9. I have normally smooth skin but I tried my best to wash and moisturize my face more.
  10. I love my body. It is the body I was given, and I am not always totally happy with it all the time. But I love it more than I ever have before.
  11. I am still learning this. It's conditioned in us at such a young age that it's hard to get out of. But I am slowly learning and working hard towards my goals and realizing that just because two people are going for the same goal doesn't mean only one will win.
  12. Another one that's still a work in progress.
I am pretty proud of myself and how well this past year has gone. I can't wait for this next year and how it will go. Here's to 2015, so far the best year of my life.

Keep Smiling Beautifuls,
Naddy xoxo

Time to Binge Read!

Bonjour my internet friends,

This will be a combination of the fact that I have now so many books that I own and have not read and are to be read and I just finished reading Tyler Oakley's best selling novel.

Do you ever have the problem of buying or receiving books and just putting them on the shelf to look pretty? That's my current problem. I have gotten a lot better as my to be read list has shortened over this past month but it's still hard as I am a book buying fiend.

I love having books at my fingertips for whenever I need them (be it a debate about the order of the Chronicles of Narnia or who actually killed Voldemort in Deathly Hallows). It is such a wonderful idea to have, especially when the bookshelf begins to spill over and insists upon a new shelf be put in.

I am a book lover forever and the fact that I have so many now (almost 200 I believe) is such a crazy thing to think of. I love it and am appalled at the same time. Where will all these books go when I move? (or we, depending which comes first.)

Who knows, all I know is that this holiday season will be full of me reading in every spare moment to catch up. Hopefully my 'to be read' list will not exist when I am done.

Now, Tyler Oakley created the masterful piece Binge. It is a memoir and written all the way up to very recently this year.

Goodreads summarized it as: Pop culture phenomenon, social rights advocate, and the most prominent LGBTQ+ voice on YouTube, Tyler Oakley brings you his first collection of witty, personal, and hilarious essays written in the voice that’s earned him more than 10 million followers across social media.

It received a 4.51 star rating on their website as well. Pretty good Tyler.

Now I am so glad I read this book and got more insight to Tyler as an actual person rather than a YouTube personality. I learned so much about him from page 1 to page 300.

He was perfectly shady and slay-worthy throughout the entire novel and I am so glad we got to see the man behind the camera. He wrote of his eating disorders, moving to California, his first celebrity encoutners, and you can't help but cry, smile, and laugh all the way through.

Binge is truly intriuging and I definitely enjoyed learning about Tyler (or should I say Matthew) in a new and exciting way.

Love you Tyler. Keep making fabulous content and never stop being who you are because it inspires me. A wise person once told me to go meet my idols because sometimes they’ll be incredible. And it was you. Right after you finished filming for Ellen. And I want you to know how you feel about Ellen is how I feel about you. I am so glad we were able to meet at the Slumber Party Tour stop in Vancouver. Thank you for being so sweet.

Re-Vamping The Blog

Bonjour my internet friends,

I think it's time to rethink my point of the blog here. I haven't posted in ages and feel really bad! But as usual, Zoella gets me back and inspired thanks to the lovely Penny Porter. I read Girl Online: On Tour over the weekend and that made me rethink what I am trying to do here.

A friend of mine gave me some advice for running this monstrosity. Have a theme and stick with it. So I now have decided on a theme! One of my passions has recently been rekindled.

Books!

So now this (along with my instagram and possibly my youtube) will be book based.

I am so excited to start on this new journey!

I hope you all enjoy the new posts.

Naddy xoxo

Books (Romance, Fantasy, Young Adult, The Works)

Bonjour my internet friends,

I love books. Books are for reading. Reading is amazing.

I have been a reader for years. I don't even remember starting, I just remember always reading. Nancy Drew, Junie B Jones, and Archie comics as a young reader.

Believe me, I am a true internet kid. It is very hard to tear me away from the computer screen. Although, "There's a new episode of Once Upon A Time/Scream Queens/Modern Family/The Big Bang Theory on!" and "Get off the computer and do some homework! You don't have any? Go read a book!" will definitely help get me off my butt and onto another seat for another form of entertainment.

The internet has helped me find other people who are in love with the fictional world. On Tumblr there are so many headcanons and fanart, I just love it. And on Instagram, it's the same.

My only problem is when I get a really good book that I can't put down. Emphasis on 'can't put down.'

I have stayed up until all hours to finish a book or series. And, this may seem weird but true, the bathroom is usually where this is done.

I'll be reading on the toilet (please, I'm not the only one to do this) and the clock will start ticking and my butt will start to fall asleep so I'll finish up and sit on the toilet seat. But that gets uncomfortable after a while so I move to leaning against the bathroom door. Then I'll lean forward until I am laying on the bathroom floor.

I am determined when I get close to the end of a novel. I have finished many of the Vampire Academy books this way. (I actually completed the series recently.)

I love to read and if my 180 book collection doesn't give that away, I don't know what will.

Books also include their authors and some of my favourite authors are JK Rowling, Rick Riordan, Veronica Roth, Suzanne Collins, Sarah Dessen, John Green, Rainbow Rowell, and many more. But specifically, my most favourite is Susane Colasanti.

She is probably the absolute greatest. Her Young Adult Romance Fiction hooks me every time. (I cannot wait for the second City Love! I wrote a review here.) And I own 67% of all her books. As shown in that photo.

And not only is she an amazing writer, she is great when she interacts with her fans on social media.

The middle comment was on my photo of my bookshelf (first photo). The top comment and right Facebook post is for that photo of me on the stairs with her books. And finally, the tweet is about my review of City Love that I tweeted to her.

I am just so happy that authors do these kinds of things for their fans. Especially when they stay up until 4AM to find out exactly if they fall in love or not. ;)

Naddy xoxo

Autumn (Fashion, Drinks, School, and Much More)

 Bonjour my internet friends,

“Autumn seemed to arrive suddenly that year. The morning of the first September was crisp and golden as an apple.”
― J.K. RowlingHarry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

I love autumn. I was born in October. Halloween. Leaves falling. Amazing fashion. Hot chocolate. Tea. Reading. Fireplaces and bonfires. Thanksgiving. Movie nights. Crunchy leaves. The colours. Comfort foods. Candy corn. Autumn rain smell. Sweaters. Cinnamon. S'mores. Hay bale rides. Corn maze. Scarves. Ankle Boots. Leggings. Foggy breath in the morning. The crisp air. Raking leaves. Toques. Braids. New seasons of shows. EVERYTHING.

That photo I have attached up there is from this last fall outside of Old Navy and seemed to look autumnal so I am using it because I can't find any other good autumn photos of mine.

School just started and I am nervous and excited. It is so nice to be in class again and see all the people I haven't seen in two months. Going back to school is the sign that fall has started and it excites me. I have good classes and good teachers.

Halloween should be good. I have plans to try to go as a Disney princess. Maybe, we'll see. My group was going to do a group costume of Alice in Wonderland but none of the guys are in anymore. I was going to be the Queen of Hearts. Princess Belle now? Or Rapunzel? We shall see.

I am already jumping in to the fall fashion. If you go on my Tumblr and look through the tag, fall fashion, you will see exactly how much I love fall fashion. Boots, leggings, sweaters, jeans, comfy scarves, toques, just so much cozy love!

What I am most excited for is sitting by our fireplace (on the tv) and reading a good book in my sweater and leggings drinking hot chocolate or tea listening to my 1989 record.

Also, my birthday. I am so close to 16 I could almost taste it.

I have some plans but I think I need to have a meeting with my family to discuss what I could do. Both for my family party and friends.

This is going to be a good final few months of 2015.

Here's to 2016 and chapters 9 and 10 of 12.

Day 12: All You Had To Do Was Stay

Bonjour my internet friends,

Tomorrow.

Day 12: Anticipation

I am just so excited. Taylor is going to be here tomorrow (and I've heard she is here early!!!). The concert will obviously be so good.

This is going to be amazing.

I can't wait to meet all the swifties I've met on tumblr. Shelby, Alec, Caitlyn, Emily, and everyone.

It's going to be so muc fun!!

This one is just a short one but I can't wait.

I have so many expectations but I'm going to try to go in with an open mind.

Loft '89 would be so cool but I know it's a slim chance (but a girl can hope!)

I have my outfit ready for tomorrow and we are raring to go!!

Taylor, all you have to do is stay.

Day 11: Shake It Off

Bonjour my internet friends,

On August 14th, 2014 the world was exposed to the new sound of Taylor Swift in the form of Shake It Off. And finally, on October 27th, 2014 the world heard the entirety of the new sound.

Day 11: 1989

This album just rocks my world, holy! She did so amazing on this one and I am so proud of her. The cover is different than what she's done before and the whole sound is different but it's just so great.

As soon as I heard Welcome to New York, I fell in love. New York is one of my favourite cities (where Taylor happens to mainly reside) and I have always loved the atmosphere there. This song is just readying me to go there and what it says to me is: come on over and you will be welcomed with open arms and wild hearts.

When I heard Shake It Off for the first time, I was like whoa. And then I listened to it again and was like, whoa. And then I listened to it again and was like, WHOA. This song is amazing! I don't give a crap what the girls in the locker room say about Taylor, I am just going to shake it off because this song is an anthem of mine as explained here. :)

Bad Blood is so amazing and hardcore. The original is awesome, especially when I first heard it but the remix with Kendrick Lamar is badass. I love the bass of the remix but the original lyrics. So it's a win-win because why not just listen to both?

Wildest Dreams is such a beautiful mystical song. I just love singing it. It kind of reminds me of Lana Del Rey at some points. Much like Sad Beautiful Tragic actually.

I just love the power of I Know Places. I love the metaphor of the hunters and foxes. And I mean, the chorus ugh beautiful

Clean is just such a coming out of something better song. Like, rehab or mental and physical healing. It's just so great and metaphorical. Rain came pouring down when I was drowning, That's when I could finally breathe. And by morning gone was any trace of you, I think I am finally clean.

New Romantics is just. so great. I love the just happiness of it. Love your friends and forget about that long list of ex-lovers and that scarlet letter. It's like a song for all the hopeless romantics and just a slam in the face for anyone who doubts us.

Now, Wonderland, I am so happy. I love Alice in Wonderland so the fact that she did this is so great. The lyrics are so great and I just love the mystical setting. I really wish she would've had this on the setlist.

1989 is a fabulous album and I am obsessed.

Keep smiling beautifuls,
Naddy xoxo

Day 10: This Love

Bonjour my internet friends,

This love is good, this love is bad (not at all), this love is alive back from the dead and it's in the form of the 1989 world tour.

Day 10: Tour

I will now take this opportunity to freak out over the amazingness that is this tour.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH.

Breathe. Calm.

Moving on.

So far from what I have observed this tour is amazing. Magnificent.

Her setlist looks pretty decent. I mean, she obviously starts with Welcome to New York because how else would you?

And in there is an Enchanted/Wildest Dreams mashup I am so not ready for.

And she ends with Shake It Off, genius.

Her performance has always been pretty incredible. Her outfit changes are iconic and her dancers are fabulous.

I am just so excited for her because as many of us know she has had a special guest at almost every show. From Jason Derulo to MKTO to Lorde to the entire squad.

I just want to know, who will she bring to ours?!

Who could it be? I don't really know.

I am just so excited because this tour has brought so many amazing things to the fandom. Like Calvin at shows. Or Karlie. Or just, yes. I don't even know, I'm so pumped.

What I have seen from photos and videos: the tour is SO MUCH FUN, for the both the fans and Taylor (and her crew of course).

I am so happy Taylor has been having fun and is performing and doing what she loves for the people she loves (us).

She is just so amazing.

P.S. if you are wondering, I made that edit up there. Please don't steal it. I worked really hard. :)

Day 9: Bad Blood

Bonjour my internet friends,

When Taylor became not-so-country-pop-but-still-country-enough-to-be-considered-country.

Day 9: Red

This album is quite fantastic. This was the beginning of an amazing era. Before the bad blood and amazing innocence.

I love the music off this record. From State of Grace to Begin Again, she just wows. I am going to pinpoint a few of my favourites.

I love the colour analogy and metaphor of Red. It is so powerful and raw and amazing like the colour. It is just so great for a rock session.

Treacherous is so beautiful. It is just explaining the risks she is willing to take for a relationship and that she is okay with that. I love the chorus: This slope is treacherous, This path is reckless, This slope is treacherous, And I, I, I like it.

All Too Well is a very coveted song in the fandom. I don't completely understand why but that doesn't matter, what does matter is that we all love it and it's over 5 minutes of beautiful-amazing-soothing-emotional Taylor. I love it so much.

Stay Stay Stay, the literal cutest song in existence. They fight but then he comes back because he really does care about her. It really represents that a relationship is a game of give-and-take. It has to be balanced on both sides or else the scales tip and everything ends.

Now, The Last Time is with Gary Lightbody of Snow Patrol and I am so happy with this collaboration. It is an amazing song just saying, you have no more chances, I'm going to ask you this one more time.

Sad Beautiful Tragic. Period. This song is so soothing and calm and so breathless. I love how she sings in this one, it's like a whisper and a little rasp. I love the breathiness of it. It sounds so pretty.

The Lucky One makes me think of the celebrity lifestyle and how hard it is to make it and then to have your name everywhere. It's hard and Taylor was very lucky. She was born into a family with money and was able to make it. And I don't know exactly who she is talking about but this person was big but went too high too fast and needed an escape. I feel like this song explains it so well.
(I hope this one made sense.)

When I saw Everything Has Changed on the album, I almost died. This song is very cute and the video is even better. The collaboration with Ed Sheeran makes it even more perfect. Their friendship means everything to me. They are so cute and this song represents that perfectly.

And finally my all time go-to and favourite, Starlight. I have always loved the just innocence of this song, following the couple on their date and the awesome metaphors Taylor uses just gets me.

Ones I Missed: State of Grace, I Knew You Were Trouble, 22, We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, Holy Ground, and Begin Again.

Day 8: Style

Bonjour my internet friends,

Iconic. Beautiful. Classic. Style. Taylor.

Day 8: Outfits and Fashion

Taylor is known for her iconic style via each era of her career. I can't even express how much I love her style. Especially this 1989 era. To just point out a few favourites:

Amazing, right? :)

Anyway, other than Taylor having amazing style herself (off and on tour) she also has fans with amazing talent and skills in the fashion area as well.

Leighanne (on the left)

Shelby (on the left)

Lotte (on the left)

Lotte, that beautiful creature up there who looks a lot like the amazing singer (hence the 'lol thought that was me' sign because Taylor is goof), has also come up with a lot of outfit ideas for shows that you can find here if you still are clueless about what to wear and your show is a week away!

Speaking of, my show is a week away. (what?!) And I still am lost on what to wear. I do have some ideas. I have one inspired by the look in the '22' video and another just by general Taylor style.

inspired by:

Hey, if you can let me know which one I should choose! Or come up with an idea on your own. Maybe one of Lotte's ideas would be cool. Let me know!

Taylor Swift and her Swifties have an impeccable style going for them (or dare I say, us) and I think we should applaud them (us) for this accomplishment. well done.

That is all for now. :)
